Actress Kiara Advani is currently riding high on the humongous success of Kabir Singh, which is shattering records at the box office. The intense love story will soon enter the Rs 100 crore club and will become Shahid’s first solo film to achieve this feat. Everyone knows that Kiara Advani garnered critical acclaim and commercial success with MS Dhoni: The Untold Story but very few have an idea that it was not her debut.

Well, she made her silver screen appearance with Fugly, which was also the debut of Mohit Marwah, Arfi Lamba and boxer Vijender Singh. It also featured Jimmy Sheirgill in a lead role. It was directed by actor Kabir Sadanand and produced by superstar Akshay Kumar along with Ashvini Yardi. In fact, Akshay and Salman Khan had a cameo appearance in a song of the film. Despite a good promotion, the film failed to impress the audience and turned out to be a forgettable affair at the box office. But Kiara won our hearts with MS Dhoni, Lust Stories and Telugu blockbuster Bharat Ane Nenu.

On the work front, she will be next seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Good News. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in key roles. The film is directed by Raj Mehta and is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. It is scheduled to hit the screens on December 27. Post that, Kiara Advani will be seen in Akshay Kumar’s Laxxmi Bomb. The film revolves around the story of a cowardly man who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender woman who takes revenge against the ones who destroyed her life. Directed by Kanchana series helmer Raghava Lawrence, Laxmmi Bomb releases on June 5, 2020.
