Did you know Parineeti Chopra was supposed to do Shoojit Sircar’s Piku, which released in 2015? Well, many of you were not aware of the same as us. The Namaste England herself revealed it when she made an appearance on Neha Dhupia’s chat show with her best friend and ace tennis player, Sania Mirza. In conversation with Neha, Pari revealed that she could have been Sircar’s Piku instead of Deepika Padukone in the film which also featured Irrfan Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Pari went on to explain how things didn’t work in her favour saying, “I didn’t really turn down the film… there was confusion. I was going to do another film at the same time and then that film also didn’t happen, so it was my loss.”

Drifting apart from her professional front, Parineeti Chopra turned a love-guru on Neha’s show and gave some advice to her single co-stars in Bollywood- Aditya Roy Kapur and Sidharth Malhotra. Giving them a tip or two, Pari said, “I think both of them are not really in the space to commit right now so they should continue what they’re doing and when they’re ready, they should only have a permanent girlfriend. I know them, and I speak to them about these things.”

The 30-year-old added that one should not give in the peer-pressure and get married soon. And asserted that she would give the same advice to both Aditya and Sidharth. “I would say this to Sid and Adi also, do it when you’re ready. Don’t do it just because everybody else is,” said Parineeti.

When asked if she would give the same advice to her Namaste England co-star Arjun Kapoor, Parieenti quipped, ” I cannot tell Arjun anything. Woh apni life ka malik hai. Wo jo karta hai, he does it when he wants to do it.” Well, we hope Aditya and Sidharth are listening and Arjun doesn’t have to as he is apni life ka malik.
