Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas-starrer Saaho will release on August 30, which mean it’s just a few hours away. Saaho is a Multilingual film and the Hindi version of the film got its certificate on Monday and guess what it’s almost 3 hours of a thrilling ride!
Saaho starring Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas is inching closer to its release. The action-thriller is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Time and again, with new posters, songs and teasers, the makers are building up the suspense and the thrill to watch the film is just at the peak. New reports are surfacing the internet that the censor board has given Saaho its certificate and that too without any cuts. For the unversed, the Tamil and other regional versions have been certified by the CBFC in the past week. And just 4 days ahead of its release, the Hindi version of Saaho got its certification on Monday.
It has been said that Saaho has a run time of about 2 hours and 51 minutes, which means almost 3 hours of Prabhas’s humour, action and boyish charm! Talking about the Hindi version of Saaho, it has been given a U/A certificate with no cuts. From the trailer and the teasers, the makers have promised it to be the biggest action thriller of all time. Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas’ chemistry would be another highlight in the movie and we cannot wait for them to create magic on screen. Already the songs have added to our woes making the wait even harder.
In an exclusive interview with us, Shraddha Kapoor talked about working with Prabhas and said, “I think when we first met, we hit it off instantly. He got super comfortable with me, my team, and I also got along well with his team. We got along really well… He has a great sense of humour. We had great bonding over the three years.” Ask Shraddha what change she has seen in Prabhas over the years, she quips, “He was passionate since the day one ya! He is so chilled out to work with. Prabhas will always be like laughing in between the shots and joking with everyone.
Based on Pakadva Vivah that prevails in Bihar and some smaller town in India, Jabariya Jodi starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer is hitting the theaters tomorrow. The film is directed by Prashant Singh and also stars Aparshakti Khurana and Sanjay Mishra in key roles. Catch our full review here!
After multiple delays, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Jabariya Jodi is finally hitting the screens this Friday at the ticket windows. The romantic comedy venture, which was earlier titled Shotgun Shaadi has been in the news since 2018 and was earlier slated to release on May 17, but to avoid clash with other films, the makers finally chose August 9 as the final date and the cherry on top is that it’s a solo release for the film. Even the trailer with its quirk and mass appeal managed to garner the right buzz. But is the Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer worth the watch? Check out our review here!
Sidharth steps into the role of Bihar ka goonda and pulls it off convincingly. Be it his flair in multi-coloured shirts and gamchas or the delivery with which he throws witty on-liners, Sid’s first rustic act deserves a pat. Even Parineeti does justice to her character with pitch-perfect diction and makes it seem effortless. SidNeeti’s chemistry is a treat to watch too. Slow claps are reserved for Aparshakti Khurana and Sanjay Mishra who light up the screen with their comic timing and punches.
The screenplay seems lazy and the editing, shoddy. Directed by Prashant Singh, the film wobbles at points and misses the plot more times than not. Especially the second half which beats around the bush for its entire duration without any plot device. The effort to soften the blow of social evils like dowry and forced marriage with comic intervention is note-worthy but debatable at best. And while Pari has caught hold of the accent, Sid’s is inconsistent. The film is also replete with one too many forgettable songs. Even the climax overstays its welcome with predictable sequences and dialogues.
We are here just gushing at Shraddha Kapoor’s style file for Saaho promotions. From it scintillating silhouettes to edgy cuts, the actress is sporting them all. Made on a huge budget, Saaho is slated to be released on August 30 worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
And the D-day is nearing for Prabhas’ Saaho! After the blockbuster success of Baahubali: The Conclusion, Rebel Star from the South is arriving on the silver screen after more than two years with the multi-lingual quintessential venture and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. Seemingly, Saaho has it all – action, thrills, high-octane chase sequences. That and a sparkling chemistry between Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor who will be seen opposite the superstar in the film. If the trailer and songs are any proof, the pair is going to light up the big screens with their on-screen partnership.
But while there is some time before that happens, we are here just gushing at Shraddha Kapoor’s style file for Saaho promotions. From scintillating silhouettes to edgy cuts, the actress is sporting them all. Don’t believe us? Check it out here.
See what we see? The film also marks the Telugu debut of Shraddha who found learning a new language, both challenging and exciting. She had said, “Speaking a language I didn’t know was tough but doable. But there were nights when I’d be awake, learning my lines, understanding what I was saying and then sitting with Sujeeth (director) to rehearse them before a shot. A coach also came home to help me get the dialect right.”
Saaho is touted to be India’s biggest action film and stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho has an ensemble cast with names like Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi, Evelyn Sharma, Arun Vijay and Lal.
Made on a huge budget, Saaho is slated to be released on August 30 worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. Stay tuned to BollywoodLife for all the latest updates from the world of entertainment!

Speaking about the film, this cop story will have Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep playing the antagonist. The Rann actor will have an action face-off with Salman Khan and will be seen sporting a toned physique. Reportedly, the villain’s character is almost a parallel lead in the film.
This will be the third franchise under the cop story and reunite Salman and Sonakshi. According to reports, the film will also travel in time and will depict the flashback life of Chulbul. For this version of the character, Salman is losing a lot of weight and will be seen sporting a leaner look. Salman has been hitting the gym more often now and has been juggling between sets.

However, these are yet to be confirmed by the makers. This number doesn’t include the satellite and OTT platform business which is yet to be sealed by the makers, reportedly.
The trailer of Saaho was dropped a few days ago and it left fans dumbstruck. The trailer gives a glimpse of what the film has in store for fans and they can expect it to be a visual treat. Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 has entered in its fifth week and is still managing to attract masses at the cinema halls. The film currently stands with the grand total of Rs 146.10 crore and it has a chance to enter the Rs 150 crore club at the ticket windows. But since Mission Mangal and Batla House are arriving tomorrow along with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, there will be hardly any screens for Super 30. So, there might be a case that it will miss the Rs 150 crore by a whisker. Though the film has done its work at the box office, as the numbers for this kind of niche films are great.

Nandish on Sunday took to Twitter to praise Hrithik. “Good actor, good dancer, good looking, but above all a good soul. Mission Mangal is coming this Independence Day along with Batla House. The film chronicles the journey of the ISRO scientists who made mission Mangalyaan possible with so many constraints in a fictional way. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in lead roles. Actresses like Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sonakshi Sinha join the team as the women scientists in the mission.
What is it about
The film is a fictionalised tribute to the team of ISRO that made mission Mangalyaan a success with limited budget and resources. Akshay Kumar plays the mission director Rakesh Dhawan while Vidya Balan is the project director, Tara Shinde. The film gives a glimpse into the lives of the core women team that made use of their common sense to accomplish such a project. Mangalyaan was a huge success for ISRO after the failure of GSLV.
What is hot
Mission Mangal’s prime strength lies in the crisp narrative and superlative performances. Vidya Balan is absolutely brilliant throughout the film whether she is talking of a power beyond science or when she tells her husband that as a mom she is equally clued in as she is as a scientist. Akshay Kumar delivers the good and has the best one-liners. Dalip Tahil as the cynical top boss is terrific. Sonakshi Sinha nails her role as the ambitious Eka Gandhi. She is fab. Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen are in top form as well. Chandan Arora has edited the film in a fine manner. Jagan Shakti has made a good solid debut as a director whether it is in extracting the emotions or creating the buildup for the climax. The background score of the film and some whistle worthy dialogues are extra highlights.
What is not
The film comes across as rather simplistic when it comes to the scientific part of space technology. Concepts are explained through home science but surely it could have been done better. The VFX is strictly average. It is evident that the makers stuck to a budget even when they could have splurged more on the technology. The song Dil Main Hai Mars just ruins the narrative of the film.
Mission Mangal has a lot going for it especially in terms of narrative, dialogues and performances. It captures the spirit of scientists in a relatable light-hearted manner. Vidya Balan again proves why she is an acting powerhouse. It is a decent watch on Independence Day to celebrate the spirit of India space team and it’s passion.

Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh is the remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s Arjun Reddy and is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Suresh Oberoi and Arjan Bajwa in key roles
Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh has taken off to a flying start and there are no two ways about it. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has managed to hit a chord with the youth and it’s raging as we speak. Thanks to Shahid’s transformation into a rebel lover to recreate the huge success of the Telugu film it’s been made after. The actor can be seen smoking, drinking and swearing but at the same time digging deep into the psyche of a heartbroken. And going by the responses, Shahid has hit the bulls-eye and delivered his career-best performance in this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.
But it wasn’t easy. Shahid Kapoor had to act like we was under the influence and it was a task because he is a teetotaler! But while that is that Shahid could draw some inferences and build a bridge between him and his character because of the unabashed abandon he was left to explore with. That and well, unconditional love. Yes, in a fun game segment with BollywoodLife, Shahid revealed the one time he would actually behave like Kabir Singh. And needless to say, it revolves around wife Mira Kapoor.
Talking about the film, it garnered rave reviews from all around the corners. Our Editor-in-chief Tushar P Joshi gave the film 4 stars and wrote, “Kabir Singh is an ace up Shahid Kapoor’s sleeve and a treat for his fans. Watch it if you want some intense romance laced up with knock-out performances.” He also praised Shahid’s performance and said, “Shahid delivers one of his careers finest performances. His rage and anger isn’t just on the surface but it’s visceral and a part of the air he breathes. To show that complexity isn’t easy, so Shahid digs deep and becomes the madness that is Kabir. He is deep and intense yet light and breezy when needed. There is a natural flair and charm that he puts to use full throttle. Kiara’s last scene with him is a revelation.
